Interior Architecture Concept - Redwah Design Concept

Redwah partnered with Next Group to provide a contemporary design for Stacks Restaurant and Bar. Redwah was asked to produce venue concepts for the restaurant interior design, including a space plan, design direction flooring, all finishes and sketch detailing documentation as well as FF & E and styling.

The objective of the project was to revitalise the interior architecture, producing a lighter brighter inviting space for guests. The intention to use as many existing materials as possible helped to keep costs down and achieve the desired aesthetic for the venue. Original floor tiles were to be utilised in the interior design concept which also allowed room in the budget for the refurbishment of existing screens with lighter fresher finishes and custom branding artwork.

Redwah was tasked with creating a timeless modern interior design which would remain in line with the leasing offer restrictions. A review of its location  to improve operations and service included service points of the kitchen and back of house areas. A central bar was created to form a focal point of the space, with the new maître de at the bar entrance creating an obvious point of entry in crisp feature tiles. It was also proposed that the restaurant and bar retain the existing timber pergola-style ceiling and refresh with lighter finishes and the layering of lighting, pendants and faux planting.

Fittings, fixtures and equipment for the interior architecture project were selected based upon durability, look and feel. The materials specified formed the base of the design colour palette, which helped to achieve a fresh new ambience.
